Private Kitchen by THE STUDIO was founded in January 2017 by Jessica Lin, a young Taiwanese millennial with slash careers in the food and technology industries. Starting from the living room of her shared flat she has since accumulated more than 3,500 guests at her dining table.
Since it’s inception, The Studio has hosted more than 200 themed dinners such as Indian Night, Roast Beef Dinner, Seafood Night, and more. Sometimes, Jessica would invite her friends in the culinary industry to star as guest chefs for events. Even though events usually end at around 10pm, Jessica often brings out her own collection of fine wines to share with guests while engaging them in conversation. In addition, customized services such as proposals, birthday parties, and company dinners are also available for booking.
Private Dining & Catering
From a banquet for a family of six, to a 200+ person mega yacht party, The Studio Private Kitchen caters to all our guests’ needs. Using high quality ingredients from Taiwan, we offer off-site catering services and host on-site events with French, Italian, Taiwanese, Thai, Mexican, and/or Indian cuisines.
The cooking workshops were sparked by a friend’s suggestion after she tasted Chef Jessica’s signature braised pork over rice (lu rou fan). Since January 2019, we have hosted Lu Rou Fan, Pasta Bolognese, Tiramisù, Red Wine Beef Stew, and Truffle Mash workshops. In small classes of around 20, each session includes a tasting and lets students take home their beloved dishes to customize at home.
Not a restaurant
Tucked away in an apartment near Taipei Arena, you can think of THE STUDIO as a break from the hustle and bustle of restaurants; a retreat with great food, great wine, and art by a local and international emerging artist. Come by for a relaxing glass of red or gourmet meal, you are always welcome at THE STUDIO.
A place of passion
It takes passion and care to create dishes that delight the guests. Chef Jessica’s passion for food can be tasted in all her creations including her signature dish: French Ginger Duck marinated in Chinese medicinal herbs and black sesame oil, marrying East and Western elements.
Lunch from TWD1000/person and dinner from TWD1500/person. Minimum party of six is required to book our venue, offering you and your guests the upmost privacy. In addition to our western, Indian, and Taiwanese menus, customised menus are also available on request.
Purveyor of quality
On weekends, one can find Jessica eagerly perusing stalls in traditional markets looking for new and exciting ingredients to experiment with. Her commitment to quality ingredients led to various collaborations with local food and wine producers.
It's all about shared experiences here, as we believe eating and drinking is for sharing and creating memories.

You can make reservations for 4 up to 24 people.
If the reservation doesn't reach to 4, the restaurant may require a minimum order amount for 4,000 NTD (Lunch) & 6,000 NTD (Dinner).
Each dining slot, we only accept one reservation, therefore, you will have a private dining room providing a unique and intimate setting for you.
